I was born and raised in a small rural village in Germany. Early on, I found adventure in the forests and valleys around me. That curiosity never really left.

Travelling brought me to different countries, cultures, and long-distance trails. Photography became a way to capture the moments I wanted to remember—and share the wildlife I was fortunate to encounter.

Today, I live in Whitehorse, Yukon. It’s a wild place with endless possibilities for outdoor adventure, and the place I call home.

Nights camping in Norway to photograph muskox. Days in the middle of a caribou migration. Polar bears along Hudson Bay in Manitoba.

Among the bears

The rare spirit bear in Canada’s Great Bear Rainforest. Walking alongside Katmai’s grizzly bears. Encounters that stay with me.
